NOW TV is Sky's flexible streaming service offering rolling monthly passes with no long-term contract. You can subscribe to Entertainment, Cinema, Sports, and Hayu passes independently — and crucially, each pass must be cancelled separately. You will not automatically cancel all passes by cancelling one.
How to Cancel a NOW Pass
- Go to nowtv.com and sign in to your account.
- Click your name or profile icon and go to My Account.
- Select Passes & Add-ons.
- Find the pass you want to cancel and click Cancel or Turn off auto-renew.
- Follow the prompts to confirm. Repeat this process for each pass you want to cancel.
⚠️ Sports Pass: Watch Out for Retention Offers
When cancelling the Sports pass, NOW TV frequently presents retention offers — discounted rates for a limited period. These offers can be worth taking if you want to reduce costs rather than leave entirely, but ensure you note when the discounted period ends and whether it auto-renews at the full price.
Key Points to Know
Billing and access
You retain access to each pass until the end of its current monthly billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
No contract — but no prorated refund
NOW passes are rolling monthly with no minimum term. This means you can cancel any time, but you will not receive a refund for the remaining days of your current month.
Boost add-on
If you have the Boost add-on (which removes adverts from Entertainment and Cinema passes), this is a separate subscription and must be cancelled independently.
NOW Broadband is a separate product
If you also have NOW Broadband, that is an entirely different contract and is not affected by cancelling your streaming passes. Broadband cancellations must be handled separately with their customer service team.
Because NOW sells multiple passes separately, it is easy to forget which ones are active. Use Sub-Site to track all your streaming passes in one place — privately, with no login required.
